The 40th Anniversary Gala was held Friday October 25, 2024 at the Corinthian Yacht Club, Tiburon, CA 

A sold out crowd of longtime and new supporters enjoyed the breath taking views from the deck of the CYC Clubhouse.  Call of the Sea founder Alan Olson was honored with a well deserved standing ovation as he recounted the history of Call of the Sea (COTS) from his first brigantine, Stone Witch, through the building of the tall ship Matthew Turner.  The keynote Speaker was Greg Dalton of Climate One.  Two of the 2024 Summer Campers bravely shared their experiences onstage in front of over 180 guests and volunteers.  Vern Glenn of KPIX energized the crowd during the live auction and Fund-TheFuture donation appeal.  Nearly $280,000 was raised the the support of the event sponsors and individual’s  donations!
