The Rigging and Fittings teams are working on getting yards and standing rigging ready for raising the yards in a couple weeks!
This week at the Tall Ship tent and workshop: rigging and fittings work progresses steadily, relaxation during daily crew lunch, some education with a great presentation on climate change in the arctic by David Thoreson, and Brad Bergman is loaning us a sewing machine, in anticipation of canvas work for Matthew Turner's interior and exterior.
Noah created a wonderful coil of Manila rope, and is shown here working on the rigging. Some views of the deadeyes and pin rails on Matthew Turner. Dan Shugrue enjoying his workday aboard the vessel, with the Army Corps of Engineer vessel, Raccoon, in the background.
